Get started
Getting started with HabitForge takes two steps: open the app, then sign in with Google. There is no separate account to create and no password to remember.
Open the app
- On the web: go to habitforge.aoneahsan.com in any modern browser. It works on desktop and mobile.
- On Android: the native build is finished and in internal testing, so it is not on Google Play yet. Until the listing goes live, open the web app in Chrome and add it to your home screen — it installs and works offline. See The Android app for what the native build adds.
There is no iOS app yet. On an iPhone or iPad, use the web app in Safari and add it to your home screen.
HabitForge uses Google sign-in only. On the web this is a Google popup; on Android it uses the native account picker. There is no email-and-password option, no Apple sign-in, and no anonymous mode.
- Click Continue with Google.
- Pick the Google account you want to use.
- You land on the dashboard, ready to add a habit.
Your habits, streaks and settings sync to that Google account, so signing in on another device restores everything, down to the ten appearance settings you chose.
Create your first habit
A habit is something you want to build, break or maintain. From the dashboard, give it a name and a schedule, then check in each day to start a streak. The full walkthrough is in Create a habit.
Tips
- Start with one or two habits. Consistency compounds faster than a long list you cannot keep.
- Pick a real cue. "After my morning coffee" beats "sometime today" — the cue → routine → reward loop is what makes a habit stick.
- Check in honestly. The rope is only useful if it reflects what actually happened.
