# HabitForge

> HabitForge is a habit tracker that turns your consistency into a rope you can see — a thin thread when a habit is new, thickening through string, rope and cable to a chain once you have shown up day after day, and fraying where you stopped. It runs as a web app. The Android app is on Google Play, and the web app also installs to the home screen. There is no iOS app and no browser extension. Sign-in is Google-only. There is a free plan plus two paid plans, Pro and Family, and all three are available now; on the web a plan is paid for by card through Polar, the payment provider, and starts when the payment is confirmed — see /pricing.md.

## What HabitForge does

- Daily check-ins that build streaks and points
- A rope visualization (D3) showing each habit's strength as a weighted score — current streak 40%, the average across your habits 30%, and how much of today is done 30% — a deterministic calculation, not a machine-learning model
- A ten-tier forge level (Spark → Forge Master) driven by points
- Weekly analytics and charts
- Achievements with a celebration moment and bonus points
- An optional, opt-in community: feed, comments, challenges, friends, and a leaderboard, with report and block moderation
- Light and dark themes plus a full theme customizer
- Offline support as a Progressive Web App; check-ins made offline sync on reconnect
- Automatic in-app updates on the Android app

## What it does not do

- No iOS app (there is no Apple Developer account); iPhone/iPad users run the web app
- No browser extension
- No public REST or GraphQL API and no programmatic integrations
- No email/password or Apple sign-in — Google sign-in only
- It does not provide health-care advice
